Springboro’s online tax filing system, called LIME (Local Income-tax Made Easy) allows most residents to easily and conveniently file returns from home using a computer device or smart phone. The system will handle all calculations, inform you of your results, file your return, and provide options for making any payment due.
LIME is not for taxpayers whose returns can be a little complicated. To use LIME:
- You must have been a full-time resident in 2025
- You must nothave filed any of the following forms with your Federal tax return
- Schedule E (Supplemental Income and Loss)
- Form 4797 (Sale of Business Property)
Access LIME starting February 16, 2026 to file your return. (Note! If you are married and filed your federal tax return separately, you and your spouse will each need to create your own LIME account.)
