The African American Visual Artists Guild’s show, “Exposition Through Art - What's New?” will be featured Dec. 3 - Jan. 3 in the Springboro Performing Arts Center gallery. Member artists answered that question through a variety of mediums and approaches. Participating artists include Nathan Conner, Andrea Walker Cummings, Yvette Dalton, Horace Dozier Sr., Al Harden, Angelo Pierro Hopson, Morris Howard, Debora Hurst, Bennie Kelley, Cedric McGhee, Clarice Moore, David Redmon, Craig Screven, Debra Richardson-Wood and Beverly Whiteside.
An artist reception, open to the public, is scheduled 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at the gallery, 115 Wright Station Way. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with some extended hours on evenings and weekends or by appointment by calling 937-748-5774.
