Total eclipse viewing event
The City of Springboro is celebrating the historic total eclipse on Monday, April 8, with an afternoon of fun, education, music and food, 2 – 4 p.m. at North Park.
In partnership with Dayton Children’s, free viewing glasses will be distributed to the first 1,000 attendees for this once in a lifetime event. Natalie Walters, chief meteorologist at Dayton 24/7, will share information about the eclipse, live music from Stop 741 Band, display from the Springboro Library, bounce houses and food trucks round out this free event. Touch A Truck, May 11, 2024
Each spring, the city hosts this event at North Park, 195 Tamarack Trail. Featuring Police cruisers, fire trucks, backhoes, service vehicles, SWAT, tow truck, school bus, race car and more! Kiddos have the opportunity to sit in the driver's seat, honk horns and get an up-close look at all kinds of cool equipment. This event is FREE and open to the public.Sensory sensitive time with no horns or other loud sounds is 9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. The event goes until 1 p.m. Free an open to the public!

The City of Springboro is pleased to offer a Speaker Series in the Premier Health Theater of the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Featuring a variety of topics, a presentation is offered by Premier Health the third Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m.

Boro BOOM! Springboro July 4th Fireworks show at Springboro High School
Celebrate Independence Day with a night under the stars! Each year the City and Clearcreek Township host a fireworks show and festivities on July 4. Check back for plans for 2024.
Concerts and DORA at Wright Station
The City of Springboro presents an entertaining lineup of FREE outdoor concerts at Wright Station, at St. Rts. 741 and 73 each summer. Check back for the 2024 lineup. The area is also a DORA--Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area--permitting those over the age of 21 to purchase and carry alcohol in specially marked cups throughout the area and offers free Wi-Fi.
Bike the Boro and BoroFest at North Park Sept. 14, 2024
Each September a free cycling event, bike information and education along with kids’ activities are offered 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Later that day, BoroFest welcomes food trucks, live music, bounce houses and kids' activities.
Celebrate the holidays with Special Events
The City of Springboro hosts a variety of free events in celebration of the Christmas holiday including Letters to Santa, Santa Visits, a holiday movie and other special events. Check back for details.
Winter Movie Series for Kids
The City offers a monthly free Kids Movie series, December - February at the Performing Arts Center. Look for our next movie date in December, 2024. Past movies include "Lilo & Stitch", "Super Mario Bros. Movie" and "The Grinch."
