"Fabric Chronicles: Sculpting the Unseen” is the featured art show at the Springboro Performing Arts Center. In this exhibit, Dr. Hyacinth Paul celebrates the incredible journeys of Indian women through a series of saree fabric sculptures. Her artworks are crafted from recycled sarees and showcase Udaan, which means “Flight.” Each piece symbolizes resilience, strength and the beauty of transformation. Dr. Paul is a retired scientist and professor who started her career as an artist later in life. She will speak about her inspiration and process during the artist reception open to the public 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, January 26 at the gallery.
