“Artists United by Hope for Ukraine” is the featured show in the art gallery located in the Springboro Performing Arts Center, 115 Wright Station Way. The exhibit features fine art works by Ukrainian artists from the local area and across the ocean united in their efforts to help Ukraine heal and rebuild. Works include watercolor, oils, prints, acrylics and colored pencil.
The public is invited to an Artists reception and Silent Auction 2 – 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9. Exhibiting artists include Nina Bielova, Lana Gurieva, and Maryana Olinyk. The silent auction will feature jewelry along with original paintings and Ukrainian collectibles and home décor. All proceeds from art sales support the non-profit organization Razom for Ukraine, which translates as Together for Ukraine.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment by calling 937-748-5774. The exhibit runs through October 28 and is free and open to the public.
