Premier Health Signage for website

The City of Springboro announced today a Naming Rights Agreement with Premier Health to name the new Theater space within the new Performing Arts Center to be located in the redevelopment of the former IGA site at the intersection of SR73/SR 741.  The theater will be named “The Premier Health Theater,” and will be the home for the Playhouse South Community Theater Group, which will be relocating to the PAC.

The Premier Health Theater will be utilized for live performances by Playhouse South, performances by the Center Stage Dance studio, who will also be housed in the building, presentations and meetings with the Springboro Area Chamber of Commerce, and many other civic and community events.

“We are extremely excited to announce this partnership between the City and Premier Health,” stated City Manager Chris Pozzuto. “Premier Health has made significant investments within the City and the Springboro Schools and they are obviously a good fit for the City - we look forward to our continued strong relationship with them moving forward.”

“Premier Health understands that the health of the communities we serve is linked to the quality of life that those individuals enjoy,” said Mary Boosalis, president and CEO of Premier Health. “Whenever possible, Premier Health seeks to partner in our communities’ economic development and cultural life, and we are pleased to work with city officials to expand cultural opportunities in Springboro.”

Plans are for the PAC to be completed and open to the public by October 2019.  Updates on the construction schedule will be provided by the City, as they are made available.
